Turkish language is spoken by over 250 million people in the world. Not true this number is inflated, there are only 73 million in Turkey and another 75 million that sepak variety of the Turkic language. Today Turkish is taught in 115 countries as a second language in many leading high schools and colleges as well as in United States. Moreover, Turkish is supported by Department of Education, Department of State, Department of Defense, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence Turkish is actually only 22 ranked for critical language needs worldwide, more fabrications of the Gulen Movement under a program called NSLI.
Houston hosted the third annual Turkish Language Olympiad on February 28 at George R. Brown convention center. Over 2,500 students who are taking Turkish lessons at universities, public schools, and branches of Raindrop Turkish House in 14 cities of Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Kansas, Louisiana, and Arkansas States where the Cosmos Foundation has other schools participated in the first round of eliminations. In order to encourage Turkish language training, Raindrop has been organizing Turkish Language Olympiads since 2007.
Houston hosted 300 finalists from these six states who competed in 7 categories including singing, poetry, talent, picture and figure, folklore, and state exhibition contests. The winners will represent the "Lone Star State" in Turkey among the representatives of 110 countries.

Winner of the poetry reading contest was Junelyn Gamao from San Antonio. Best singing award went to Ebyln Pineda of Houston. Finally, the group from Dallas took the first place in folk dance contest. These are ALL Harmony Science Academy Students. Give more awards and make them feel part of the Turkish family
Besides more than 2,500 spactators, politicical, academic, cultural notables as well as Harris County Judge Ed Emmett attended the event. ABC, FOX, and NBC local channels broadcasted the event during their evening news.
In order to contribute to the mutually enriching relationship among Turkish Americans and their friends, as well as between the people of the United States of America and the Republic of Turkey, Raindrop Turkish House has been organizing for the last three years and will continue to organize and support cultural activities like Turkish Language Olympiad. Raindrop Turkish House is using our American Tax money intended for Education....money laundering from Harmony Science to Cosmos to Raindrop Turkish House/ et al.
My child was a student at the Gulen Harmony Science Academy School in Texas, we served on the Parent Association and were involved with many fundraisers. Gulen Charter School- We were very dedicated to this group until we realized there was more to these schools than just "education". Our posts are from actual news sources and government data such as IRS tax returns, H1-B Visa information and other documentation.
Harmony Science Academy a Gulen Charter School
Harmony Science Academy in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico are under the Cosmos Foundation. The Cosmos Foundation ran by Turkish Nationals who are known members of the Gulen Movement have abused many state and federal laws. Cosmos is the largest abuser of H1-B Visas for foreign teachers than the largest school district in America. Scratch your head and wonder why the Gulen Movement is getting away with reverse discrimination? Texas money crosses over state lines to support the other Gulen Managed charter schools, this is WRONG!! Great, us Texans have it bad enough with unemployment and then this radical Islam steals money from our educational taxes and parades our children around in harem outfits.
ReplyDeleteFellow Texans it's time to kick ass on this group of outsiders that are here to destroy our state and pollute our culture with Turkish.
The military contractors are the ones that pushed this Turkish garbage off on us. They have made billions $ off of Turkey and are letting them re arrange our educational system and selling us off especially the poor neighborhoods. Texans sing out loud and clear to your politicians to stop taking money from these Turkish Moslem liars. We will vote any of these people out of office if they continue this.
uhh... That last comment was very... rude (to put it in a nice way). I go to one of these schools and they are very nice people.
ReplyDeleteI can agree with you that it was a bit off color. As a student, your teachers might be "nice people" but have you looked into the Gulen Movement and their Agenda to win hearts and minds of American children?
ReplyDeleteEver wonder about who is paying for the trips to Turkey, Turkish Olympiad, Turkish Language, etc.,? You are too young to grasp these kinds of indoctrination, the Gulen movement has a specific goal and agenda and it has nothing to do with education but rather domination of education in the world.
I have heard from some students (the went to the school that was a market) that hate the school and feel they are being blackmailed to stay or they are threatened with not having their credits transfered.
Glad it is working out for you, but keep your eyes wide open, the next time you are spoon fed baklava.
I agree that many of the teachers are nice people. However, many are very naive and lied to about why they are in the USA. Did you know they donate 40% of their salary (Tuzak) back to Cosmos, Raindrop Turkish House, Turquoise Council, etc., Some are not getting paid at all merely slave labor working off their h1-b Visa fees and being told that the schools were owned by a 'brother' when in fact the Harmony Science Academies are owned by the American Tax payers.
ReplyDeleteLook at the section on "keeping texas politicians happy"
As a Turkish-American conservative, I have to say that these schools are leeching of our precious taxpayer money in supporting Charter Schools which serve as fronts to destroy the Secular Democratic Reforms created by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and to replace they system with Sharia Law as well as the re-creation of the Ottoman Caliphate. These Charter Schools need to shut down immediately, because Gulen is a two faced liar by claiming by creating Charter Schools and Dialogue institutes will create friendship between the people of Turkey and USA. Infact, it is even making it worse. Gulen claims to be a moderate Islamist WHICH IS A LIE! He is as dangerous as Bin Laden, Khomeini and Ahmadinejad and he needs to be treated as such and all dialogue organizations, as well as Math/Science Charter Schools ran by Turkish Nationals need to be investigated. There needs to be a worldwide crackdown immediately as soon as possible!
ReplyDeleteI am a Turkish immagrant who now lives here in America. I run a very successful business. I came here to America to get away from the problems of my country and to be successful. Fethullah Gulen Movement as best as I can explain is very similar to your American Italian Mafia. Everyone knows it. The Gulen Movements works in tandem with the Turkish government to restore the Ottoman Empire and wants to take the country back in time like Afghanastan and Iran. The people wants modernity. While Gulen and his follwers may appear to show this on the outside, the inside shows they wish for another plan.
ReplyDeleteAnother good comment that shows how America is full of great Turkish and other immigrants. We want to have the American dream but still retain our culture.
ReplyDeleteI am very sorry what the Gulen Movement has done to Turkey. Sending money and resources to other countries to build schools, hospitals, businesses while Turkey is falling apart is unfair to the people of Turkey who struggle.
We agree that the Gulen Movement is very much like organized crime hiding behind a religion. The funny thing is, other members of Islam don't recognize the Gulen Movement or identify with their social, political and philsophical point of view.
The have gotten way too agressive, and taken money from American taxpayers while bypassing American business and shutting them out of contracts. Under the Gulen Movement, only THEIR members prosper.
Everyone else is followers, and this goes for 99% of the Gulen Movement members - very few will ever be a part of the "Golden Generation" that Gulen is trying to establish which will be the masters of the neo Ottoman Empire.
I go to one of the Harmony schools. And, despite what everyone appears to "think" many people have failed to visit one of the schools or meet with the people. That's cowardice, and hypocritical.
ReplyDeleteIf you "go to one of the Harmony schools" therefore you are a STUDENT- correct?
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't be priviledged to know anything about the business dealings of the school, their multitude of foundations that layer the schools or any other legal issues.
The real coward and hypocrites is Hizmet, a Turkocentric curriculum and lying about 100% college acceptance (most are accepted at Gulen ran North American College) the others barely make it in.
Many would think that Harmony and it's coward staff / foundations are the hypocrites and cowards. That are (quoting My San Antonio) DISCORD.
The sad thing is the other charter schools in Texas are forming alliances and shutting out the lackluster Harmony Public (giggle) Schools.
Let Soner Tarim come forward and take an oath in a deposition that he is not part of the Gulen Movement.
That is cowardice not admitting your affilation with Gulen. Shame on you. Why are you ashamed?
